​"QUALITY TOUCH, a tall and powerful stallion, was a true athlete like his famous grandfather GALOUBET. The offspring of QUALITY TOUCH also inherit the qualities of impulsion, courage, and respect from QUICK STAR. As QUALITY TOUCH goes well with all types of mares. Prefer medium-sized to large mares with elegance. QUALITY TOUCH proves the athletic quality of his progeny every year.

QUALITY TOUCH was the revelation among the 4-year-old sire stallions at the Grand Week of Fontainebleau in France. He was the only stallion with 4 offspring in the Top 50 of this generation, including 3 4-year-old offspring with faultless 10/10 performances!

Approved by the Z studbook when he was 4 years old, QUALITY TOUCH is now also approved in the SA, SF-A, and AA CR studbooks.

His first offspring have shown great performance in two disciplines: in Show Jumping (CSI) with QUALIDAM and in Eventing (CCI) with VENDÉE GLOVE JAC. To name a few: JILANI DE L'AM QUARTZ 7, QUALITY SHOW and VIRTUAL BOY DE SHELOA, ULIGA MAIL, ULANDUS MAIL, UPFRONT, STAR GIRL (formerly ULIVA MAIL) in the USA, VENTURA MAIL, VIGO MAIL, QUINDIA KAIZEN Z, VALERIA D’ALLOU, VEGAS ONE D’IVRAIE, CACHEMIRE DE BRAIZE, VALKIRIE, VIXROI, VALENCIA CHEVRIER, VADE MECUM D'EGLEFIN, VANITY TOUCH, VELOUR DE CERAN, AMETHYSTE DU VALDECIE, D'TOUTH D'ORVAL, URKAWA VILLA ROSE.

Abroad, there's also QUARTZ ADELHEIDE Z, French champion of 5-year-olds in 2003 (ISO 149), competing in CSI in Belgium and GB, QUARTZ 7 Z, 16th in the 7-year-old World Championship in Lanaken then in CSI 4* and 5* in Germany (321st worldwide WBFSH 2012), 2nd in the SIRE OF THE WORLD 2013 with T. Rieskamp, QUALIFIED TOUCH CSI in Germany with A. Pollmann, QUICK STEP HZ with R. Stroyberg, UPFRONT (formerly MAGNUS QUID MAIL) CSI 5* with L. Hough (USA).

QUALITY TOUCH is a perfect example of the crossing of two foundation stallions in the Selle Français and Holsteiner studbook: QUICK STAR & LANDGRAF I!

PEDIGREE

​His father is QUICK STAR, a major winner in CSIO and the son of two great international champions, GALOUBET x STELLA. QUICK STAR is a show jumping legend, father of over 270 "Black Type" horses including Big Star, OBO Quality, Orient Express, Quantar des Etisses (Mclain Ward). He is also one of the best sires of young horses at the 4, 5, 6, and 7-year-old Championships in Fontainebleau (France).

SEVADA, QUALITY TOUCH's mother, was a successful Grand Prix winner in Germany. She is a daughter of LANDGRAF I (Ladykiller ps), one of the leading figures in Holstein breeding, father of numerous champions and top stallions like LANDADEL or LIBERO H. LANDGRAF I is also a remarkable broodmare sire. SEVADA is also the mother of the famous CLASSIC TOUCH (Caletto II), Olympic Champion, . SEVADA also produced the stallion CANDITO (Candillo), exported to Italy.

His grandmother, LAS VEGAS, produced the stallion LAGANO (Holst), father of successful CSI winners. This Holstein maternal lineage (stamm 4025) also produced stallions like SIR LORD (Z), LANCETTO (Holst), CALIGULA II (Holst), L'ACTEUR (SWB), WITHESNAKE (KWPN), COPENHAGEN, LARGO W (BWP, Z).​

TYPE OF MARE

Quality Touch started in Career in Belgium and successfully competed in the classic cycles at the age of 4. He was for instance a finalist in Gèves.

Exported to Chile at the age of 4 for $300,000, he competed at the Grand Prix level at 5 and 6. Quality Touch suffered an ending career accident and was sold to Argentina where he was stationed until 2006.

Spotted by one of the best European breeders: Bernard Le Courtois Quality Touch arrived at his stud in France in 2007.

QUALITY TOUCH, whom we tested in both free and ridden jumping, is an easy horse with a good mouth, lots of amplitude and impulsion, and a very good technique in his front end (important for a son of QUICK STAR) and a strength in his back which is really impressive! (Very much like QUICK STAR!).
